COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

Artists from across York have been working with schools and community groups in the lead up to the festival, in order to create exciting works of art using GaiaNova & OMA's tagtools. Groups include Hempland Primary School, students of Art & Design from York St John University, local community group, Khaoz Media and the Upfaders music collective. Come and see work from these groups in Museum Gardens during the festival.

This year the festival has partnered with Arts Action York to work with their Big Draw project, entitled 'Belongings - Drawing with Light', part funded by The Learning Revolution. The project supports local community groups, York Carers and Aspire, a groups of adults with Aspergers syndrome.

Monday 26 October - Friday 30 October 2pm -4pm

You can visit York Art Gallery to try the tagtool for yourself during afternoon sessions as part of the Big Draw
